By adding some good ol’ fashioned rock’n’roll to their punky attitude, the gang from Gothenburg, Sweden has been hailed internationally for their energetic live performances. 

They have been tearing through Scandinavia, UK, Germany, Slovenia, Poland, Switzerland and even done shows in St. Petersburg and Moscow. 

After having released a string of critically acclaimed albums, City Saints decided it could be fun to do something new and took a little detour in 2019 with “På svenska”, an album sung in their native language. After all, City Saints is all about having fun and for the first time they cut songs in the classic Gothenburg studio Music-A-Matic with renowned producer Chips Kiesbye (The Hellacopters, Michael Monroe). “På svenska” turned out to be a huge success all over Europe and the next album release, lo and behold – a double LP in order to celebrate the band’s 10-year anniversary, will feature all new material in English as well as in Swedish. 

Meanwhile, City Saints has kept busy with the thematically intertwined “On the Radio”-EP’s. In spring of 2020, “Peter and The Test Tube Babies On the Radio” was released. On the first side of the 7” is one original song, a tribute to the band with the same name, and on the flipside are two covers of that band, all with the legendary Peter Bywaters sharing lead vocals. In summer of 2021, “Evil Conduct On the Radio” followed the same principle, featuring none other than the inimitable Han on every track. 

In the ten years that has passed, City Saints has produced a plethora of songs that bursts of energy and offers hook after hook. The music is no-frills, very much to the point, and offers a quality matched by the group’s supercharged shows.
